This week’s Friday find @5 is a double-whammy!
A few weeks ago we featured Skinflips as our Friday find. The company is currently running a great sale, and we think you’d be crazy to miss it. You can get a delicious skin (not edible) for your favourite tech and gadgets from just £7.99 – make sure you like their Facebook Page for a £5-off voucher, too.
Incase you’ve been living under a rock, or you’ve got a genuine reason for not knowing, Nokia recently announced its Lumia 800 handset – it’s the first Windows Phone from the Finnish phone manufacturer. The smartphone is sleek and sexy, although we think it looks very similar to the only MeeGo device released by Nokia. The phone, perhaps the most worthy iPhone-competitor to walk out of Nokia for a while, has many great features but its price isn’t one of them. However, being an ever-so-generous and friendly bunch, we’ve decided to find the best deal(s) for you, just like we did for the iPhone – we do spoil you. Dialaphone.co.uk has some cheap deals with Vodafone, but by far the best is the following 12 month contract with unlimited text messages, 500MB data, 300 minutes, and a monthly cost of just £36.00 per month. (Click on the deal for more details) If that doesn’t tickle your fancy, Carphone Warehouse is also plugging the Lumia 800. They’ve got a great deal with Orange with a 24 month contract—the phone is free however, all for just £26-a-month. Ofcourse, there is still the upfront payment of £99.00, but we think this phone’s worth the little extra. If you’re lucky enough to have one of these phones, then let us know how you’re enjoying it, and if you’d recommend it to others. Don’t forget we’re on Facebook, Twitter, and Google+! We want to hear from you!
