We’ve reviewed the most stylish way to protect all of your favourite gadgets – take a look.

We chirped about this product in one of our Friday Finds a few weeks back, and now we’re happy to provide you with our own review of one of these special skins.

Skinflips produce some very handsome designs for a wide range of gadgets, including some of your favourite phones – we’re looking at you, iPhone 4S.

The skins are the ultimate answer when it comes to personalising your favourite device – choosing your skin design couldn’t be easier with the gallery, filled to the brim with beautiful images.

We managed to get our hands on a more simple design for our iPhone 4, and we were very impressed.

Applying the skin was relatively easy- we didn't need to worry about bubbles with this product. The material is thicker than that used in screen protectors, and easier to handle.

The skin is cut to the exact proportions of the device, and the iPhone is a great device to show this.

This ‘Ladezone’ design, available at skinflips.com, covers every inch of the phone, even the home button. You can also choose whether or not the Apple logo is visible – most like to show off what they’ve got, we know.

Under Wraps

The iPhone skin we received was not plastered with the company’s logo or name – in fact, we couldn’t find it anywhere.

We were very impressed with its durability too. Mot screen protectors begin to dog-ear or curl after a week’s wear and tear, but the skin, covering all but the screen, protected the phone from scratches and still had the stamina to keep in good nick.

The pictures below show the case a few days in, and we think you’d agree that they show very little signs of use.

Applying the case was a little fiddly, but that’s the nature of this product. It was made a little easier by the material – thicker than a screen protector; it was relatively easy to iron out the bubbles and bumps.

As far as protecting our phones, we won’t ever look back. If you want to get hold of one of these skins, make sure you check out their webpage.

Let us know what you think of this skin idea on Facebook, or Twitter or even Google+.
